Adopt-a-Neighbor, Mission Viejo’s only nonprofit food distribution center, will celebrate its 30th anniversary Saturday at El Toro High School in Lake Forest.

Founder and Lake Forest City Councilwoman Kathryn McCullough said the center serves about 10,000 low-income families, seniors and homeless residents each month.

The celebration will include a barbecue picnic lunch, live music, games and prizes.

Tickets will cost $5 at the gate. Anyone who can’t afford a ticket can attend free, McCullough said.
