Krause’s Reports $2.3-Million Loss

Krause’s Furniture Inc., Brea-based furniture manufacturer and retailer, said it lost $2.3 million, or 10 cents a share, for the second quarter ended Aug. 1 compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.9 million, or 8 cents a share. Sales gained 16% to $36.1 million. Same-store sales increased 9%.
