Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a Mexican restaurant, authorities said Saturday.

Jose Ramos, 18, and Jesus Morales, 30, remained in jail Saturday night on suspicion of armed robbery.

The robbery occurred about 10:30 p.m. Friday when a man pulled a knife on an employee who was standing outside the back door of the restaurant in the 300 block of Arneill Road, deputies said.

Authorities said the man robbed the employee of some money and then forced him to go inside the restaurant and empty the till. The robber fled out the front door and got into a vehicle being driven by another man.

Ramos and Morales were arrested minutes after the robbery. Deputies would not say how much money was stolen or whether it was recovered.

Ramos was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and Morales in lieu of $70,000 because he allegedly violated his probation, deputies said.
