Music Guild Season Begins in October

Music Guild begins its 55th season of chamber music concerts with an appearance by the St. Petersburg String Quartet, Oct. 18 at the New Performing Arts Center at Cal State Northridge.

The ensemble will appear the next night at Cal State Long Beach, then Oct. 20 in Wilshire-Ebell Theatre, the longtime home of the series, 4401 W. 8th St.

Following the same pattern, Music Guild will present the Jacques Thibaud String Trio, Nov. 8-10; the Ying String Quartet, Jan. 10-12; the Dunsmuir Piano Quartet, Feb. 14-16; the Ysaye String Quartet, March 20-22; and the Peabody Piano Trio, April 10-12. All concerts begin at 8 p.m.
