Golden West College is looking for singers who want to donate $20 to sing in a shower with a disc jockey in front of a panel of judges Aug. 28 to help raise funds for the college’s Pacific Coast Civic Light Opera. “The Great American Charity Shower Sing,” sponsored by the Tile and Plumbing Gallery in Huntington Beach, will take place at 1 p.m. at 19431 Beach Blvd.

Five hundred dollars worth of cash and prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will be used to offset operating costs of running a professional musical theater company.
