THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

ANAHEIM

* Broadway at Thistle Road: An abandoned vehicle was reported at 8:28 a.m. Monday.

BUENA PARK

* Commonwealth Avenue: A business asked the police to remove a sleeping man from the 8300 block at 3:50 p.m. Sunday.

CYPRESS

* Lincoln Avenue: Police made a warrant arrest in the 5000 block at 7:18 p.m. Friday.

* Crescent Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 5000 block at 8:07 a.m.

DANA POINT

* Perch Drive: A robbery alarm in the 25000 block was triggered at 8:11 p.m. Monday.

FULLERTON

* Deerpark Drive: A burglary from a 1996 Ford Mustang was reported in the 1000 block at 8:37 a.m. Friday.

* Palm Drive: A burglary was reported in the 3000 block at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Newhope Street: Authorities suspect arson in a blaze that caused $52,000 damage to several classrooms at Peters Elementary School in the 13000 block at midnight Tuesday. Fire officials believe someone lit paper on a patio bench and flames spread to three classrooms.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Beach Boulevard: Someone kicked out the windshield of a car parked in the 19400 block at 2:24 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Alton Parkway: A purse and its contents were reported stolen from a shopping cart in Ralphs grocery in the 5300 block at 9:02 p.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Rounsevel Terrace: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized entry after a neighbor called to report a burglary in the 2800 block at 12:38 a.m. Tuesday.

LA HABRA

* East La Habra Boulevard: A robbery was reported in the 600 block at 8:57 a.m. Friday.

* East La Habra Boulevard: A burglary was reported in the 1000 block at 11:02 a.m. Friday.

* West Greenwood Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 500 block at 11:02 a.m. Friday.

ORANGE

* Loretta Drive: A prowler was reported in the 12000 block at 3:28 p.m. Monday.

* Santiago Canyon Road: Shots were reported in the 20000 block at 4:33 p.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Brea, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Placentia, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Westminster and Yorba Linda.
