THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:

BREA

* North Palm Street: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 3:01 p.m. Sunday.

* East Wildflower Circle: Malicious mischief was reported in the 2100 block at 8:57 a.m. Sunday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 100 block at 5:18 p.m. Sunday.

DANA POINT

* Street of the Golden Lantern: A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics at 4:20 p.m. Thursday in the 33000 block.

* Street of the Violet Lantern: A loud party was reported at 11:40 p.m. Thursday in the 33000 block. Deputies contacted the host, who agreed to quiet down the party.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Slater Avenue: Tires of a vehicle were slashed in the 10400 block sometime before 2:13 p.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* South Lemon Street: Police responded to a report of battery in the 1400 block at 8:02 p.m. Monday.

* Warburton Way: Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1800 block at 11:16 a.m. Monday.

IRVINE

* Alton Parkway: A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing and accessories worth $300 at 9:40 p.m. Monday at Marshall’s in the 3700 block.

* Carlson Avenue at Michelson Drive: A purple 1998 Honda Civic was reported stolen at 10:51 p.m. Monday.

* Grant: Three salmon fish heads were found at 8:39 a.m. Monday on the front door mat at a residence in the first block.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Park Avenue: A homeless woman was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after she passed out at 6:49 p.m. Monday under the scoreboard at Laguna Beach High School in the 600 block.

* South Coast Highway: Police were called after a guest complained to the manager of the Seacliff Motel about a strange man on his balcony at 10:52 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block.

LAGUNA HILLS

* La Cadena Drive: Four vehicles in a construction area in the 23100 block were spray painted between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The vandalism was reported at 10:25 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Bobolink Drive: Someone in the 29100 block reported that juveniles broke a walkway lamp in her front yard at 8 a.m. Nov. 24.

* Cabot Road: Graffiti was reported in back of a business in the 28100 block at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 24.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Paseo De Valencia: A 42-year-old man was reported for petty theft at the Longs Drug Store in the 24100 block at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 24. He was cited and released.

LA HABRA

* East Brookdale Avenue: Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 2000 block at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

* North Hillside Court: Police responded to a report of assault and battery in the 900 block at 7:25 p.m. Friday.

* West 1st Avenue: A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 300 block at 12:51 p.m. Friday.

ORANGE

* West Metropolitan Drive: A 36-year-old Garden Grove woman was arrested after allegedly robbing the California Federal Bank in the 4000 block at 11:25 a.m. Monday. Kandi Jeanne Hutchinson brandished a plastic handgun to a teller and demanded money, police said. After retrieving an undisclosed amount of money, police arrested Hutchinson, who was wearing all black, after she was spotted walking away from the bank.

PLACENTIA

* Crowther Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard: Gunshots were reported at 11:22 a.m. Monday.

* West Chapman Avenue: A robbery was reported in the 800 block at 11:02 p.m. Monday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Del Obispo Street: About $2,000 in cash and a check for $3,000 were reported stolen from a purse in an unlocked employee locker at 4:25 p.m. Friday in the 31000 block.

* Del Obispo Street: A window at a clothing store was smashed and clothes were reported stolen at 1:25 a.m. Saturday in the 31000 block.

* Junipero Serra Street: A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and cocaine at 12:32 p.m. Saturday at the onramp to Interstate 5.

SANTA ANA

* Alton Avenue: A bicyclist traveling on the wrong side of the road was hit by a car turning right at the intersection of Alton Avenue and Bristol Street. The bicyclist hit the bumper of the car, suffering minor injuries. The accident happened shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Newport Avenue: A car burglary was reported in the 14000 block at 7:56 a.m. Monday.

* Nisson Road: About $900 worth of property was reported stolen from a residence in the 1000 block at 4:57 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Casa Oro Drive: Malicious mischief was reported in the 4600 block at 12:23 p.m. Sunday.

* Lakeview Avenue and Yorba Linda Boulevard: An injury traffic accident was reported at 11:16 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Tuesday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
