A panel of residents and business and property owners reviewed concepts for redevelopment of the El Toro Road corridor Tuesday.
The panel has been giving input on a proposal to build a parallel street south of El Toro Road lined with cafes, bookstores and other businesses catering to pedestrians.
Consultants will bring more specific designs to a Jan. 25 meeting to show the panel how the new street would look and function.
Also, planners will bring back more detailed proposals on rewriting zoning codes and easing traffic in the area.
