THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* West Fir Street: A grand theft was reported in the 400 block at 9:05 a.m. Monday.

* Orangewood Drive/Tamarack Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported at 4:32 p.m. Monday.

* North Robert Court: Stolen property was recovered in the 1300 block at 2:12 a.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Slater Avenue: The tires of a vehicle were slashed in the 10400 block of Slater Avenue, sometime before 2:13 p.m. Sunday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor Boulevard: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of possessing three grams of methamphetamine for sale in the 12000 block Saturday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Seastar Drive: An orange Datsun pickup, with surf racks on the top, was reported stolen from the 7400 block at 2:01 a.m. Saturday.

LA HABRA

* West El Portal Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 1700 block at 4:46 p.m. Sunday.

* South La Habra Hills: A grand theft was reported in the 1400 block at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Worth Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 2300 block at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday.

PLACENTIA

* South Kraemer Boulevard: Malicious mischief was reported in the 200 block at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* Newport Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 13000 block at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday.

* El Camino Real: A report of vandalism in the 1000 block at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday.

* Browning Avenue and Mitchell Avenue: A car burglary was reported at 3:31 a.m. Wednesday.

OTHER COMMUNITIES

ALISO VIEJO

* Enterprise Parkway: A chandelier was reported stolen from the garage of a residence in the first at 3:10 p.m. Monday.

* Briarwood Lane: Christmas gifts and a CD changer were reported stolen from a 1992 Honda Accord at 4:10 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block. There are no suspects.

* Coronado Cay and Pacific Park: A 33-year-old in a 1995 Dodge Avenger was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 12:40 a.m. Sunday.

* Sagebrush: A man from a party took a bat and smashed the windows of three vehicles parked in the first block at 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park, Westminster and Yorba Linda.
