Slashing and Murders: Must Be the NFL Section

There are many things that make the NFL the No Fun League, but the ban on the throat-slashing sign isn’t one of them. The fact the league had to institute a ban shows how tasteless, classless and out of touch players such as Warren Sapp really are.

After reading the NFC daily report from Nov. 30, “Mom: Carruth Can’t Meet Bail,” I have a dose of reality for Rae’s mom Theodry: Bail is set based on many factors, including seriousness of the crime. She complains that “Rae does not have that kind of money.” Well, Mrs. Carruth, that is why they set it so high, they want him in custody!

She goes on to explain how Rae’s salary of $652,000 is not as much as it would appear after taxes, bills and investments. I’m a teacher, and I make $32,030, but it is not as much as it would appear after taxes, bills and investments.
