Costa Mesa-based Tickets.com Inc. last week renewed its partnership with the San Francisco Giants for ticketing at the major league baseball team’s new home, Pacific Bell Park, which opens in April.

The 10-year contract continues a partnership begun in 1995 when the Giants signed up with Bay Area Seating Service Inc., which was acquired by Tickets.com in 1997.

The system allows the Giants to track the purchases of ticket buyers, from the turnstile to the gift shop to the nacho stand, opening up a variety of marketing opportunities.
