Variflex Net Income Down Slightly; Revenues Up
Variflex in Moorpark reported net income of $105,000, or 2 cents per share, on revenues of $9,503,000 for the three months that ended Oct. 31.
This compares with net income of $108,000, or 2 cents per share, on revenues of $8,876,000 for the three months that ended Oct. 31, 1998.
Variflex is a wholesaler and distributor of in-line skates, skateboards, recreational safety helmets, athletic protective equipment and yo-yos. The company also sells Quik Shade, a portable instant canopy, snowboards and related accessories, and the Airzone spring-less trampoline.
