* Brian Woods has been appointed chief marketing officer and senior vice president of NetZero, Westlake Village, following NetZero’s merger with AimTV, where Woods served as chief executive officer.

NetZero provides free Internet access to consumers in exchange for marketing information.

Mark Walter has been named executive vice president, credit & operations for WMC Mortgage Corp., Woodland Hills, the company said. He will be the chief credit officer, responsible for loan administration and quality control. Walter had been a senior vice president with First Union Bank.

WMC is owned by Apollo Advisors L.P. and is a sub-prime mortgage lender.

Hyporium, Chatsworth, an online trading company for the information technology industry, has made several appointments in Europe. Antoine Leboyer will manage the company’s Paris office. Simon Aldous will manage operations in Britain, replacing Nick Kandola who will become the company’s European chief operating officer. Mark Peters has been promoted from vice president, sales and marketing to European general manager. Erik Barfoed will head the Copenhagen office.

Susan Abundis has been appointed Bank of America market executive for north Los Angeles County, as well as Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. She will maintain offices in Woodland Hills and Ventura.

* Martin D. Pichinson, interim chief executive officer with ORA Electronics Inc., will leave the company, the board of directors announced. He has been given a 30-day notice of termination pursuant to his contract with the company.

ORA supplies cellular, computer and telephone products.
