New Marketing Exec for B of A’s Premier Banking Group

* Bank of America has named Sharon Devaney as market executive of its Premier Banking Group in Southern California. Devaney, who had been at the bank’s commercial banking group, will lead the newly formed commercial partnership division within the Premier group.

* Richard W. Stanton has been named senior vice president and chief operations officer of the Los Angeles Times. He will be responsible for the newspaper’s production, printing, distribution and customer service operations. James D. Shaw, senior vice president and chief financial officer at The Times’ sister publication Newsday, will succeed Stanton as The Times’ chief financial officer. Both will report to Kathryn Downing, The Times’ publisher, president and chief executive officer.

* Litton Industries Inc. has named Frank Brandenberg senior vice president and group executive of its Electronic Components and Materials Group. He succeeds Donald Lepore, who will retire from the company next August. Lepore will continue to advise Litton senior management and the EC&M; Group until his retirement.

Before joining Woodland Hills-based Litton, Brandenberg was chief executive of EA Industries Inc. in West Long Branch, N.J.
