Media Network Names N. America Executive

New York-based Western Initiative Media Worldwide has named Louis M. Schultz chief executive for its Western Initiative Media North America unit. Schultz will report to Western Initiative Media Chairman and Chief Executive Larry Lamattina. Dennis Holt, currently chairman and chief executive of the North American unit, will remain with the company as a consultant. Holt, who sold Los Angeles-based Western International Media to the Interpublic Group of Companies in 1994, said he was ready to pursue other interests. Schultz, who will be based in Western Initiative’s Los Angeles office, recently was chairman and chief executive of Campbell-Ewald Communications.
