After 38 years of playing Santa Claus, City Councilman Harry Dotson is handing off his role. John White, Stanton’s neighborhood services manager, will don the beard and red costume from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Children’s Holiday Workshop, 7800 Katella Ave.
He also will appear Dec. 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Christmas party for the Boys and Girls Club at 11050 Cedar St.
