TEMECULA--An Old-Fashioned Christmas next weekend will offer strolling carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday lights and entertainment from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. SAN LUIS OBISPO--Visit Santa at Mission Plaza during the Festival of Trees, daily through Christmas Eve. Kids can also ride a carousel through Dec. 30. MISSION BAY--The Christmas Boat Parade of Lights on Saturday can best be viewed from Crown Point, the east side of Vacation Island or the west side of Fiesta Island. The parade begins at 7 p.m.; the lighting of the Sea World Sky Tower Tree of Lights is at 9 p.m.. Free. (858) 488-0501.

FERNDALE--Ranchers and farmers will take to the streets at 7 p.m. next Sunday, Dec. 19, for the annual Lighted Tractor Parade down Main Street, which is lined with historic Victorian-era buildings. Free. (707) 786-4477.

NEVADA CITY--This village will host Victorian Christmas on Wednesday evening and next Sunday, Dec. 19, and the evening of Dec. 22. Broad Street will be filled with food, entertainment, craftspeople and strolling carolers. At the nearby Miners Foundry, there will be a Victorian Christmas Crafts and Gingerbread House Display.
