The Redevelopment Agency, which consists of the City Council members, voted in favor of purchasing property at 190 S. Olive St. for $250,000.
The 7,841-square-foot property, adjacent to the Orange Senior Center, is currently leased to a car repair shop.
Although the car repair business is free to stay on the property, the city has discussed possibly using the land for needed senior center parking in the future.
