La Reina Freshman Wins Poster Contest
A La Reina High School freshman has won the Ventura County Science Fair poster contest.
Susan Farshidi designed a poster that includes images of a chromosome helix, a rocket, a bug, planets and an eye. Her design will be featured on posters, fliers and packets publicizing next year’s science fair.
The fair will take place April 11-13 at the county fairgrounds.
Susan is an honors student who enjoys science. She plans to compete in the science fair with a project examining distance and the speed of tennis balls.
