DANA POINT
Residents will have an opportunity to send a message to a loved one that will be delivered 10 years down the road when the Dana Point 10th Anniversary Committee buries a time capsule as part of the city’s Festival of the Whales celebration.
The capsule, which will be buried Feb. 26 or 27, will include photos of events that were held around the city in 1999, a commemorative banner and a scroll that will hang at Dana Point City Hall where residents can sign it, Committee Co-Chair Dan Beatty said.
The scroll will be available at City Hall from Jan. 17 to Feb. 17, Beatty said.
