Follmer Named VP at Hahn Communications

Keri Follmer has been named vice president of Hahn Communications in Newport Beach. She joined the firm in 1995 as an account executive and was made senior account executive in 1997. Previously, Follmer was with the American Heart Assn. and the Disneyland Hotel.

* Melissa Centeno has joined the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau as communications manager. She had been marketing manager at the Discovery Science Center.

* Timothy M. Matthews has joined Hobbs Group LLC as a senior vice president. He will oversee production and client services for the Laguna Hills office of the insurance services provider. Matthews was formerly senior vice president and senior client executive at J&H; Marsh & McLennan in Newport Beach.

* Maryann Jones has been appointed dean of academic affairs at Western State College of Law in Fullerton. She has taught there since 1989. Before joining the law school, Jones had her own practice specializing in employment law.

* Jay Huiberts has been named vice president and creative director of Szenderski/Ronani Worldwide in Irvine, a brand development and advertising company. Huiberts, an advertising and design specialist, helped found RiechesBaird Advertising several years ago.
