At tonight’s City Council meeting, members will discuss spending $20,000 to research alternatives to building a 110-foot tower, proposed as part of the 800 MHz public communication safety system.
Other items on the agenda include denying a request to turn the Spencer Recovery Center into a full-fledged drug and alcohol recovery hospital. Council members plan to tell owner Chris Spencer that he needs to comply with the rules of his original permit and stop performing medical detox on patients.
