The City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved terminating an exclusive negotiating agreement with Newport Beach developer Capital Pacific Holdings Inc. to build a stadium and bring a professional football team to Anaheim. Termination of the agreement allows the city to explore football stadium and NFL franchise opportunities with other parties, city officials said.
