First Congregational Church of Buena Park is hosting a lecture Feb. 27 about the myths and facts regarding Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s expert Marion Schepel will speak at the 10 a.m. event. Schepel, the wife of the church’s interim pastor, is also director of staff development at the John Douglas French Center in Los Alamitos, known for its research on Alzheimer’s.
