Two students recently were named winners of the Seal Beach Historical Society’s third annual amateur photo contest. Craig Duffy, a freshman at Los Alamitos High School, won first prize, and was awarded a 35-millimeter camera donated by Seal Beach Camera. Tim Hutten, an eighth-grader at Oak Middle School, won second prize, a $50 gift certificate donated by PC 30 Min Photo System.

The winning photo will be displayed at City Hall and in the Red Car Museum, and will become part of the city’s historical record.
