Catholic Church Schedules Parish Retreat

Share

St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Irvine will host a free parish retreat Feb. 13 through 18 that will aim to review, renew and reform the Catholic commitment.

Titled “Catholic, Californian and a New Century,” the retreat will serve as a “spiritual spring cleaning,” said Eugene O’ Toole, the church’s director of adult education.

“You must commit to the community as well as oneself,” O’Toole said. “It’s not God and me. It’s God and us--the community, too.”
