In the Empire League:
No. 5 El Dorado 4, Kennedy 2--Scott Gwartz had two goals and Ignacio Cid scored his 21st goal for host El Dorado (22-1-1, 7-1), which lost to Kennedy (13-5-1, 4-4) in their first meeting.
Katella 6, Century 1--Senior midfielder Danny Jimenez scored two goals in the second half for Katella (9-7-2, 6-2).
In the Garden Grove League:
Garden Grove 4, Bolsa Grande 0--Andrew Hospedales scored two goals for host Garden Grove (2-15-2, 2-5-2).
Los Amigos 6, La Quinta 0--Johnny Rocha and Jose Torres each scored two goals for visiting Los Amigos (12-4-4, 7-1-3).
Pacifica 2, Rancho Alamitos 1--Leroy Peuchot’s corner kick deflected off a Rancho Alamitos defender with seconds left in the game to lift host Pacifica (11-7-4, 6-0-4). Peuchot scored a first-half goal for Pacifica.
In the Golden West League:
No. 4 Servite 2, Westminster 1--Senior Matt Terry scored both goals, including the game-winner with three minutes remaining, for visiting Servite (20-4-3, 7-1-1).
In the Orange League:
Magnolia 3, Valencia 3--Brandon Olvera’s goal off a pass from Jon Van Wagner tied the score, 3-3, for Magnolia in the 65th minute. Dante Zena scored two goals for the Sentinels (6-8-2, 3-3-2).
Steve Locht scored two goals for Valencia (4-9-5, 1-3-4).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 1, Costa Mesa 0--Brian Fusco scored in the 36th minute off a corner kick by Jason Surya. Adam Mazzaro made seven saves for his seventh shutout for Laguna Hills (13-6-6, 4-1-3).
In the South Coast League:
No. 9 Capistrano Valley 1, Dana Hills 0--Andre Wendell’s goal in the final minute bounced off the crossbar before going in for visiting Capistrano Valley (12-5-6, 3-2-3). Tim Fallman assisted on the goal for the Cougars.
San Clemente 1, Trabuco Hills 1--Trabuco Hills’ Kit Hager scored the tying goal in the 41st minute. Senior Drew Cather scored in the second minute for host San Clemente (10-7-7, 1-4-3).
In the Sunset League:
No. 6 Esperanza 1, Edison 0--Shaun Dohrman scored a second-half goal during injury time to lift visiting Esperanza (18-3-3, 5-2-1). Edison is 4-2-2 in league.
