Pay Raises for Supervisors
Re “Supervisors to Consider Pay Raises for Themselves,” Feb. 2.
This is an open letter to Ventura County Supervisor John Flynn:
Dear John: Yes, you are a crybaby, but I feel your pain. In order to alleviate your suffering, I hereby pledge to donate to you the 1% pay raise I received last July, thanks to the beneficence of the county of Ventura. I also am starting a campaign to urge my co-workers to join me in this noble cause. It truly pains me to know that you “don’t have very much damn money.”
I know my $397 contribution will raise your standard of living as much as it has mine. The check is in the mail!
