Holiday Closings
Monday is Presidents Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
* County, state and federal offices will be closed. County and state offices will also be closed on Friday, Lincoln’s birthday.
* City offices will be closed, except in Mission Viejo. City offices in Fountain Valley will also be closed Friday.
* Municipal, superior and federal courts will be closed. Municipal and superior courts will also be closed Friday.
* City and county libraries will be closed. County libraries will also be closed Friday.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Schools: All Orange County public schools will be closed, as will UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and all community colleges. Chapman University will hold classes. Community colleges and some public schools will also be closed Friday.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in drop boxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: Trash will be picked up on the regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on the regular schedule.
* MetroLink: Trains will run on the regular schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
