Authorities arrested a teenager on suspicion of felony vandalism Friday as part of a campaign to curb a rash of freeway graffiti in the San Fernando Valley.

Members of the California Highway Patrol’s West Valley anti-gang/graffiti task force served a search warrant at the residence of the teenager Friday morning, said CHP Officer Bob Granieri.

“Key evidence was found at the location which linked the suspect to $10,000 of freeway damage,” he said.
