LAKE FOREST
The City Council will consider today a new ordinance to limit the number of drive-thru restaurants and automotive service stations on El Toro Road. The city wants to curb the number of drive-thrus because of the traffic they create. The city has designated El Toro Road as a redevelopment zone and wants to promote sit-down restaurants and unique stores in the area.
