Daly, Lehman Withdraw From Nissan Open
John Daly and Tom Lehman withdrew from the Nissan Open, which begins Thursday at Riviera Country Club.
Lehman, who had shoulder surgery Nov. 30, hasn’t played competitively since the Skins Game. He injured his shoulder while playing with his children during the British Open at Royal Birkdale in July.
Daly withdrew because he wanted to visit his mother and father in Rogers, Ark. Last week, Daly missed the cut at the Buick Invitational.
The last two spots in the 144-player field will be decided in qualifying today at Los Serranos.
Tiger Woods and David Duval, the top two players in the Official World Ranking, headline the entry list for the last full-field tournament on the West Coast swing before the PGA Tour moves to Florida.
