“ER” star Noah Wyle, who last year signed a four-year multimillion dollar pact with Warner Bros. to remain with the NBC medical show, has purchased actress Bo Derek’s Santa Ynez Valley home of about 20 years and some adjacent acreage for just under $2.5 million.

Derek, 41, is leasing a house in the area. She and her late husband, actor-turned-producer John Derek, had quietly put their 31-acre home on the market before he died in May at 71. Wyle also bought an adjacent 13.8 acres that the couple owned.

Wyle, 27, has played Dr. John Carter on “ER” since 1994.

His new home, on a knoll with valley and mountain views, has a 5,000-square-foot main house, two caretakers’ apartments, a barn and horse arena. Built in 1973 and refurbished after the Dereks bought it in 1980, the main house has a master suite, an office, two guest suites and a media room.

Diana Anderson of Fred Sands’ Santa Ynez Valley office and Jeff Chertow of Sands’ Malibu office were the selling agents; Rebecca Riskin and Renee Grubb of Village Properties, Montecito, had the listing on the home, and E. David Davis of Santa Ynez had the listing on the adjacent land.

Andrew Shue, who played Billy Campbell on “Melrose Place,” and his wife, agent Jennifer Hageney Shue, have sold their Hollywood home for $760,000, almost $30,000 more than the asking price, and they have moved to the East Coast.

The actor, brother of actress Elisabeth Shue, was on the Fox prime-time soap from 1992 until last year, when he left the cast. A former Ivy League soccer standout at Dartmouth who played professionally in Zimbabwe, Shue also played soccer with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The buyer of their three-bedroom, 1,588-square-foot house, up a gated drive, was described as “a young, Internet executive.”

Keith Cox of Coldwell Banker-Jon Douglas Co., Beverly Hills, had the listing.
