While community groups are urging residents to cast a no vote in the Treasure Island special election April 27, residents who still have questions about the development of a resort hotel on the 30-acre mobile home site can get answers starting next week. A public information center will open Monday morning at the old Treasure Island Mobile Home Park Clubhouse so members of the community can review proposals and voice concerns.

The City Council recently approved an agreement with the property owners that included some changes in the project’s design. But community groups said the changes don’t go far enough and are asking residents to vote no on the referendum. Information: (949) 499-5489.
