‘Charlie Brown’s’ Debut

I wish to call attention to an error in your interview with Charles Schulz on the subject of the current Broadway opening of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (“This Cartoonist Isn’t Wishy-Washy About Control,” by Blake Green, Feb. 3).
You make reference to this being the Broadway debut of the 1967 production. The actual Broadway debut was June 1, 1971, at the John Golden Theatre, and I played the title role. It received good critical notices, but closed after 15 previews and 31 performances.
