The City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on whether to exploit the city’s logo to promote civic pride. City Clerk Verna L. Rollinger angered City Manager Kenneth C. Frank when she revealed at the Feb. 9 meeting that city funds were spent on lapel pins containing the city logo, as a way to promote civic pride and community spirit. Frank said he is opposed to using the city’s logo as a marketing tool and said the purchase was never authorized.
