The city has started construction alongside the Belgrave Channel between Valley View Street and Lampson Avenue to replace a sewer main. The $400,000 project--which will continue through the end of March--involves replacing the force main, which has been broken three times in the last six weeks. The improvements will prevent future spills. Construction is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
