Mike Sell of the United States defeated Andre Sa of Brazil, 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2, in the semifinal round of the ATP Tour Challenge at the Nellie Gail Ranch Tennis club in Laguna Hills.

Sell will face Sebastian Lareau from Canada in the final today. Lareau advanced with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (7-3) victory over Japan’s Takao Suzicki.

In semifinals of doubles: top-seeded Pablo Albano and Daniel Orsanic of Brazil defeated the U.S. doubles pair Bob and Mike Bryan, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. U.S. pair Brian Macphie and Paul Goldstein defeated Brazil’s Jamie Oncins and Sa, 6-1, 6-7 (7-1), 6-3.
