Britney’s ‘N Sync With the Public

Bubble gum beats spice--at least on the Southern California singles chart, where teen-pop singer Britney Spears, currently gaining exposure with her spot on the ‘N Sync tour, has unseated the Spice Girls from the No. 1 position. In the album ranking, the Offspring’s “Americana” is showing stamina, moving to No. 1 in the area and No. 2 nationally.
