BREA
* South Puente Street: Police arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance in the 200 block at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday.
BUENA PARK
* State College Boulevard: A 14-year-old was reported missing from the 100 block but was found unharmed shortly thereafter at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday.
COSTA MESA
* Arlington Drive: A cellular phone and gym bag worth $170 were stolen from a car in the 900 block sometime Jan. 4.
CYPRESS
* Gene Street: Report of a person driving under the influence in the 9700 block Wednesday.
DANA POINT
* Ritz Carlton Road: Report of a robbery alarm in the 100 block at 3:17 p.m. Jan. 4.
FOUNTAIN VALLEY
* Brookhurst Street: Report of a commercial burglary in the 15000 block at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday; a satellite receiving dish was stolen.
FULLERTON
* Garnet Lane: A person called police to report a prowler was seen near an apartment window in the 3000 block Sunday. A suspect was arrested and nothing from the apartment was reported missing.
GARDEN GROVE
* Biscayne Court at Joyzelle Drive: Report of reckless driving at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Bolsa Avenue: A tank of nitrous oxide was reported stolen from a dental office at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday.
IRVINE
* Weeping Wood: A handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle Saturday night.
LAGUNA BEACH
* Emerald Bay: A home was reported burglarized, items taken unknown, in the 1000 block Tuesday.
LAGUNA HILLS
* Moulton Parkway: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 26000 block at 10:33 a.m. Jan. 4.
LAGUNA NIGUEL
* Stern Street: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 100 block at 2:38 p.m. Jan. 4.
LA HABRA
* West Whittier Boulevard: A man was stabbed three times and another was bludgeoned with a pool cue in the parking lot of Hard Times Pool Hall early Sunday. The first victim was taken to UCI Medical Center with stab wounds to his torso and forearm; the other was taken to St. Jude Medical Center with cuts on the head. The assailant was still being sought.
LAKE FOREST
* Yellowstone Lane: Report of a robbery in the 21000 block at 9:05 a.m. Jan. 4.
LA PALMA
* Walker Street and La Palma Avenue: A 40-year-old Cypress man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he was involved in an accident, injuries unknown, at 2:59 p.m. Jan. 3.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Howard Avenue: A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 4200 block Saturday.
MISSION VIEJO
* Veterans Way: Report of a robbery with an audible alarm in the 25000 block at 8:03 a.m. Jan. 4.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Bayside Drive: A 9-millimeter handgun worth $400 was stolen from a home in the 2600 block sometime between Dec. 18 and Tuesday.
ORANGE
* Earlham Street: Report of reckless driving at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday.
PLACENTIA
* Placentia Avenue at Orangethorpe Avenue: A man was arrested Sunday for allegedly kicking another man to the pavement and then trying to run him over with his car. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Calle Del Cerro at Avenida Pico: Report of a robbery alarm at 8:38 a.m. Jan. 4.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
* Via California at Camino Las Ramblas: Report of a robbery alarm at 9:58 a.m. Jan. 4.
SANTA ANA
* Harbor Boulevard: Report of an audible alarm in the 16000 block at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday.
SEAL BEACH
* Coastline Drive at Carmel Avenue: A person drove a pickup truck into a planter early Sunday, then abandoned the vehicle a block away. Police impounded the pickup after receiving a call from a witness.
STANTON
* Garden Grove Boulevard: Report of a burglary with an audible alarm in the 8000 block at 10:35 a.m. Jan. 4.
TUSTIN
* Malena Drive: Someone reported neighborhood children dumping trash on his lawn in the 13600 block at 10:14 a.m. Jan. 4.
VILLA PARK
* Taft Avenue: Report of a parking violation in the 18000 block at 2:53 p.m. Jan. 4.
WESTMINSTER
* Asbury Circle: Jewelry valued at $7,500 and $400 in cash were reported stolen from a residence in the 9300 block at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday.
YORBA LINDA
* Shay Del Place: Police arrested a 17-year-old male on suspicion of vandalism in the 5900 block at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday.
