Connecticut Routs Seton Hall
Svetlana Abrosimova scored 31 points and No. 2 Connecticut rebounded from its first loss of the season to Tennessee three days earlier by routing Seton Hall, 101-41, Wednesday night at Storrs, Conn.
It was the second time in eight days the Huskies (14-1, 7-0 Big East) and Pirates (5-10, 2-5) have met. UConn won last week at Seton Hall, 84-56.

Angie Braziel had 29 points and 17 rebounds and Rene Hanebutt made two free throws in the final seconds to lead No. 6 Texas Tech to a 68-65 victory over Texas A&M; at College Station, Texas. . . . Stacy Frese scored 32 points and No. 14 Iowa State made 93% of its free throws to beat Colorado, 90-84, at Boulder, Colo. . . . Ernestine Austin made a free throw in the final seconds to help Syracuse upset No. 21 Boston College, 73-70, at Syracuse. . . .
