Truck Overruns Van, Car; 2 Killed, 2 Injured

MORIARTY, N.M. —
A trucker blinded by the sun ran over a slow-moving van and car taking eight youngsters from Bible class to school, police said. Two teenagers were killed and two others seriously hurt.
The accident happened Thursday morning on Interstate 40 about 30 miles east of Albuquerque.
The van and car were going 25 to 35 mph, while the truck was traveling at an estimated 75 mph, the posted speed limit, state police said.
