In the Academy League:

Capistrano Valley Christian 62, Fairmont 35--Melissa Sands scored 22 points and had five assists to lead Capistrano Valley Christian (14-3, 6-0). Teammate Bethany Thom scored 19 points and Crystal Hickey had 11 rebounds and eight points.

In the Garden Grove League:

Pacifica 63, Santiago 62--Down by as many as 18 points in the third quarter, Santiago (14-6, 5-1) rallied, but Stephanie Reupena missed her final shot and Pacifica (10-10, 5-1) held on. Reupena had 39 points, making 15 of 18 free throws, and eight rebounds.

Diana Barreras led Pacifica with 19 points and six rebounds.

Garden Grove 52, La Quinta 40--Gloria Rojas scored 15 points and Erin Deane had 11 points and 15 rebounds to lead Garden Grove (7-13, 2-4).

Nadiya Aziz had 17 points for La Quinta (5-13, 2-4).
