Michael Gioffredi Named V.P. of Sales at Cardiac Science
* Michael D. Gioffredi has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Cardiac Science Inc. in Irvine. Gioffredi previously held the position of vice president of sales and marketing for Britesmile Inc., a public dental technology company. Barry Klegerman was appointed director of sales. For the last seven years, he was the Western area sales manager for Zoll Medical Corp.
* Keith G. Bateman has joined Biolase Technology Inc. in San Clemente as vice president of global sales. Bateman formerly held executive positions with HGM Medical Laser’s international and domestic divisions.
* Cindy Stout has been appointed senior vice president of lending for the Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union in Santa Ana. She had been vice president of lending. Lori Julian, formerly vice president of branches, is now senior vice president. Jane Eichenbaum has been appointed vice president of member services. She was formerly manager of the telephone service center. Julie Velasquez is now vice president of branches. She was previously regional branch manager.
* Johannes G. Rietschel has been named to the newly created position of chief technology officer for Lantronix in Irvine. In 1988, he founded ProNet/Acola, which was acquired by Lantronix last October.
* Kristin Brocoff has joined Laer Pearce & Associates, an Irvine public relations firm, as an account manager. She previously spent six years with the Gable Group in San Diego. Jill Balsamo was named an account coordinator. Before joining the firm, she was an account coordinator at Amies Communications in Irvine.
* Robert Kreps has been named senior director for Toshiba America Medical Systems’ Healthcare Business Development group in Tustin. Kreps has been director since 1997.
* Patrick Flanagan has been named to the new position of president of NC Capital Corp., a recently formed subsidiary of New Century Financial Corp. in Irvine. He had been executive vice president of New Century Financial Corp.
* Gary L. Hamilton has been appointed vice president of Sullivan & Curtis in Irvine, a risk management insurance brokerage. He was formerly with Anderson and Anderson and Aon Risk Services Inc. in Irvine.
