FNet to Provide NATO Kosovo Phone Service
FNet Corp., an Internet subsidiary of Franklin Telecom in Westlake Village, will provide telephone service for NATO’s multinational forces serving near Kosovo, the company has announced.
The satellite telephone service provides U.S., Canadian, British and other members of the multinational force the ability to call family and friends in any country.
The move brings to 12 the number of stabilization forces and NATO locations operated by FNet. Three more sites are scheduled to be added by April 1.
Franklin Telecom, founded in 1981, designs and manufactures computer communications devices and software.
