Get L.A. Some Teachers, Not Another NFL Team
Our local power brokers should realize that when they get to the gates of heaven, God will care more about what they did to address humanity’s real needs rather than its nonessential needs.
Bringing a football team to Los Angeles may stimulate the testosterone, but there are more important human issues that deserve the attention, energy and brainpower of our elected officials and business moguls. Can you imagine what these people could accomplish with their billions of dollars for the people of Los Angeles if they instead collectively made, for example, improving the school district or reducing gang violence their project?
