Free Towing Offered for Tipsy Motorists
To provide a safe alternative to drinking and driving during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the Automobile Club of Southern California will offer a free Tipsy Tow service from 6 p.m. Saturday to midnight Sunday.
Motorists, bartenders, restaurant managers, party hosts or passengers of a drinking driver can call and request a tow home for as far as seven miles.
The service excludes rides for passengers and is a one-way, one-time ride for the driver, and the destination is limited to the driver’s residence.
