Contamination Closes Beach
The Orange County Health Care Agency closed a mile-long stretch of Huntington State Beach on Thursday because of high bacteria counts. In anticipation of large Fourth of July holiday weekend crowds, Huntington Beach officials went to great lengths to stress that the nearby city beach remains open.
