LAGUNA WOODS
The city has selected Meg Monahan as its new deputy city clerk. Monahan has served as Laguna Beach’s deputy city clerk since 1997; she holds a master’s degree in public administration from Cal State Long Beach and a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Kentucky. She also has worked as a landscape-architecture consultant.
The deputy city clerk manages the daily operations of the city administrative offices, including preparing and maintaining official records and documents. Monahan starts Monday. The Laguna Beach resident will work a split schedule with both cities through July and start full time with Laguna Woods in August.
