The City Council has canceled its regularly scheduled meeting today, extending the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Council members will resume their schedule at the July 20 meeting. At that meeting, the council is expected to vote on approving the city’s 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 budgets. The July 20 meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in council chambers, 4845 Casa Loma Ave.
